The ideal candidate has a solid background in B2B retail or agricultural sales, a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, and a proven ability to drive sustainable revenue growth.

We are currently seeking a Sales Associate to support our client commercial strategy by driving sales, expanding customer relationships, and securing new business opportunities. This hybrid, full-time role based in Kaduna, Nigeria is ideal for a results-oriented professional with B2B sales experience in retail, FMCG, or agriculture.

You will play a key role in revenue growth, account penetration, and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction through data-driven strategies and market intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customer acquisition strategies to drive business expansion

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities to increase revenue streams

  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from prospecting to deal closure

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and stakeholders

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure retention and loyalty

  • Educate clients on product offerings, features, and market trends

  • Conduct market research to identify buyer needs and product demand

  • Analyze sales and engagement data to optimize selling strategies

  • Provide customer feedback to internal teams to inform product development

  • Work with internal teams to improve sales processes and efficiency

  • Ensure alignment across departments for smooth sales operations

  •  Ensure product availability to vendors/suppliers/aggregators through reliable partnerships

  • Build and maintain long-term business relationships with buyers/off-takers

  •  Explore opportunities in the hospitality industry

  • Collaborate with farmers and cooperative to ensure consistent product supply

Qualifications

  • BA/BSc/HND in Business, Sales, or a related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, retail, or FMCG business development

  • Experience in agricultural sales or supply chain management is preferred

  • Existing network of buyers in aggregation, agro-processing, or hospitality is a plus

  • Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools

  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a result-driven mindset

  • Proven business development or sales skills

  • Deal-closing expertise

  • Understanding of agricultural systems and buyer behavior

  • Track record of maintaining long-term client relationships

  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills

  • Highly organized and self-motivated

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and levels

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
