This is a contract-based role for a Lawyer with at least three years of experience in corporate law. You will be responsible for reviewing contracts, handling legal applications, and ensuring our operations remain legally sound. This is not a full-time position; tasks are assigned as needed, and billing is consolidated for payment at the end of the month.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize business contracts, MOUs, and service agreements.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Handle legal filings and applications with relevant authorities.
- Translate complex legal requirements into simple, actionable briefs for the team.
- Manage and resolve any legal disputes or documentation hurdles.
Qualifications
- LLB/BL with a valid license to practice law in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate or commercial law.
- Strong background in contract drafting and negotiation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain legal terms simply.
- Highly organized with a system for tracking tasks and deliverables.
