We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in React.js for the frontend and Node.js for the backend to join our growing team in Ibadan. This role is for a passionate developer who will build a product that automates our processes, working on both client-side and server-side logic, and solving complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React.js for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while following best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full stack.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between the frontend and backend.
- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to manage application data efficiently.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in React.js (hooks, state management, component lifecycle).
- Strong backend experience with Node.js (Express.js, RESTful API development).
- Database knowledge (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Familiarity with version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
- Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, Firebase Auth, etc.).
- Ability to write efficient, reusable, and modular code.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) - Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Recoil).
