The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new
business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and driving
sales growth. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft
Excel, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales
or business development within FMCG or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Generation:
o Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
o Identify new markets, potential clients, and business
opportunities.
o Execute sales strategies to penetrate new outlets
(supermarkets, stores, distributors).
o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with
clients.
2. Business Development:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
and stakeholders.
o Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and
customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
o Develop and implement strategies to improve product
visibility and brand awareness.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Prepare sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts
using Microsoft Excel.
o Track sales trends, analyze data, and recommend
corrective actions to optimize performance.
o Use Excel for budgeting, sales tracking, sales forecasting
and customer database management.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
o Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure customer
satisfaction.
o Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback
promptly.
5. Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with the marketing, production, and logistics
teams to ensure smooth operations.
o Participate in promotional events, product activations, and
trade fairs.
