1. Operational Support & Field Coordination
• Oversee and manage end-to-end order fulfillment, from handover from the sales team to
delivery, including coordination with local suppliers and transporters.
• Act as the liaison between sales, logistics, and field teams to ensure timely, accurate
execution.
• Provide daily updates and reports on ground activities, order status, supplier issues, and
delivery progress.
Helping farmers farm better using data
• Support onboarding of new field personnel, farmers, and local partners.
• Coordinate deployment of field projects, including training sessions, data collection, or
onboarding drives.
2. Partner & Customer Engagement
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners like farmers, aggregators,
vendors, and logistics providers.
• Handle field-level customer service issues (e.g., delays, quality complaints) and escalate
complex cases for resolution.
• Serve as a feedback channel from customers and partners to central teams for product
and process improvements.
3. Data Management & Reporting
• Collect, organize, and input data from the field to ensure accuracy in performance
tracking.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports on KPIs: order fulfillment rates, delivery times, partner
performance, etc.
• Work with Finance to track payments, supplier accounts, and budget alignment.
4. Process Improvement
• Identify inefficiencies in the fulfillment and supply processes and propose practical
solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing workflows or implement new
ones.
• Manage hiring and onboarding workflows for the local team.
• Test and implement tools or methods to improve logistics, partner engagement, or data
accuracy.
5. Product Feedback & Market Research
• Capture partner and farmer feedback to inform product enhancements.
• Participate in on-ground surveys and analysis of market trends, competitor offerings, and
buyer needs.
Working Relationships
Internal:
• Operations Team, Sales Team, Product Team, Finance Team
External:
• Farmers, Aggregators, Suppliers, Logistics Partners, Community Leaders
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Management, Agribusiness, or a
related field.
Experience:
• 1–3 years in a field-facing role such as logistics coordination, operations, or agri-supply chain.
• Prior experience in agritech, FMCG, or B2B supply chains is an added advantage.
• Experience working with grassroots stakeholders like farmers, vendors, or aggregators.
Skills and Tools
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills under field constraints.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics and stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and tools like Trello, CRMs, and mobile data collection apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Swahili.
• Tech-savvy with a willingness to adopt new platforms (Zapier, Tawk.to, Microsoft 365 etc.).
