Our client is hiring Sponsorship Executives to secure funding for programmes focused on lifelong learning and intellectual engagement for retirees and older adults. The role focuses on building corporate sponsorships, CSR partnerships, grants, and donor contributions.
Successful candidates will have a strong track record of securing funding or sponsorships and the ability to close high-value partnerships with organisations and institutions.
Corporate Sponsorship & Partnerships
• Identify and engage corporate sponsors, CSR teams, and philanthropic organisations
• Develop and pitch sponsorship proposals for NU3A programmes and events
• Negotiate partnership agreements and secure financial commitments
Donor & Grant Fundraising
• Identify potential institutional donors and foundations
• Prepare tailored funding proposals and partnership decks
• Build relationships with decision makers in banks, pension firms, and large corporates
Pipeline & Fundraising Execution
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective sponsors and donors
• Track proposals, pledges, and closed funding using CRM tools
• Convert signed pledges into verified funds through follow-up and relationship management
Reporting & Accountability
• Submit weekly updates on fundraising pipeline and outcomes
• Provide documentation of signed sponsorship agreements or pledges
• Ensure accurate tracking of funds raised and donor communications
Fundraising or Sponsorship Experience
• Proven track record securing sponsorships, grants, or donations
• Experience closing corporate partnerships or high-value deals
Evidence of Results
• Ability to demonstrate past fundraising outcomes (campaigns, sponsorship deals, or grants secured)
• References who can verify fundraising performance
Business Development Skills
• Strong pitching, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders in corporate or institutional settings
Organisation & Execution
• Ability to manage multiple prospects and proposals simultaneously
• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment with clear revenue goals
Candidates may come from:
• NGO fundraising or development roles
• Corporate sponsorship sales (events, media, conferences)
• Startup fundraising or partnerships
• Business development roles in mission-driven organisations
Compensation: ~₦450,000/month (50% base + 50% performance-based) + commission on verified funds raised
