As our Google Ads Manager, you will be responsible for planning, launching, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns to drive high-quality leads for Betternship’s services.

This is a contract role renewed monthly, strictly based on performance, lead quality, and ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, and Remarketing)

  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis

  • Write and test high-converting ad copy

  • Optimize landing page traffic for better conversion rates

  • Monitor daily ad spend, CPC, CTR, and conversions

  • Track and report campaign performance using Google Ads and Google Analytics

  • Continuously improve campaign performance through A/B testing

  • Identify and eliminate low-performing ads, keywords, and audiences

  • Collaborate with the Betternship team to align campaigns with business goals

 

Performance Metrics (Monthly Review)

Contract renewal will be based on:

  • Number of qualified leads generated

  • Cost per lead (CPL)

  • Conversion rate

  • Return on ad spend (ROAS) or overall campaign ROI

  • Lead quality and relevance to Betternship’s services

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent flow of qualified inbound leads

  • Decreasing cost per lead over time

  • Clear performance reporting and insights

  • Campaigns that can be scaled profitably

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns with measurable results

  • Strong understanding of lead generation and conversion optimization

  • Experience working with service-based or B2B businesses

  • Ability to manage budgets efficiently and scale winning campaigns

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of results

  • Experience with Google Analytics, conversion tracking, and tag setup
