Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of their software products. The QA will work closely with developers, product managers, and operations teams to identify issues early and maintain high-quality standards across releases.
Analyze product and project requirements to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
Identify, document, track, and retest bugs using bug-tracking tools
Collaborate with developers to understand features, clarify requirements, and resolve issues
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Validate fixes and ensure defects are fully resolved before release
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release meetings
Maintain QA documentation, test reports, and quality metrics
Ensure applications meet business, performance, and basic security standards
3+ years of experience as a Quality Analyst or QA Engineer
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
Hands-on experience with manual testing
Experience using bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
Ability to write clear, structured test cases and documentation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Basic knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress
Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum environments
Experience testing both web and mobile applications
$400 – $900 gross monthly, depending on experience
