Our client is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily logistics and supply chain activities. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence by streamlining processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely execution of deliveries — all while maintaining cost efficiency and high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor end-to-end logistics operations to ensure seamless execution.

  • Source, engage, and manage third-party vendors to meet operational demands.

  • Supervise dispatch scheduling, order fulfillment, and fleet allocation for daily deliveries.

  • Track and analyze operational performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and internal company policies.

  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize inventory flow and dispatch processes.

  • Develop and implement cost-optimization strategies to improve service delivery and profitability.

  • Lead, train, and supervise operations staff to enhance productivity and performance.

  • Handle escalations and operational challenges promptly, ensuring minimal business disruption.

  • Generate and present reports on operational efficiency, vendor performance, and cost control.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.

  • Proven leadership ability with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

  • Experience managing multiple vendors and coordinating large-scale logistics operations.

  • Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent analytical skills and a track record of optimizing workflows for efficiency.

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

  • Attention to detail and operational precision.
