About

Our client is the top-performing funding system in the UK and the EU. They offer scaleup and startup CEOs a suite of high-end programmes designed to help them level up, raise funds like pros, and scale their businesses faster without costly mistakes.

Job Description

Job Description

  • You will build and run Ops, generally running a tight ship. You will help us keep processes and systems running smoothly while supporting our CEO with daily operations and some key projects. This is a critical role for the company to scale efficiently, so you will work directly with the CEO and the team.
Operational support (70%) -  Chase, remind, nudge, and poke other people inside and outside the team so that we all run on time and on budget. -  Liaise with our alumni, partners, suppliers, and our entire ecosystem to ensure

    our programmes run smoothly.

    -  Keep our CRM (we are selecting a new one) clean and functional

    -  Manage data entry, tagging, pipelines, and list segmentation.

    -  Build and maintain lead and contact lists for outreach and emails

    -  Create simple, clear dashboards and reports to help the sales staff and understand what’s working (/not).

    -  Copywriting and email preparations

    -  Help us improve workflows, automation, and systems that make the sales

    process faster and easier.

    -  Prepare and update presentations, documents, proposals, contracts, liaise with our prospects, alumni, and partners, following up with all so that all

processes run smoothly and we don’t drop balls.

  • Assist the CEO (30%) -  Manage the CEO’s calendar, helping him stay on track and focused (and occasionally reminding him to eat). -  Coordinate meetings, calls, follow-up emails and all changes

    -  Source, arrange, negotiate and book physical venues, transport, travel and

other logistics for Bootcamps to take place

    -  Research and maintain a list of speaking opportunities, events and other

exposure-building partnerships. Arrange and book/confirm speaking

    engagements..

    -  Take notes (we use a meeting transcription service) during key meetings,

track follow-ups, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

    -  Handle occasional personal or admin tasks (we’re all human here).

    -  You have taste, originality and an aversion to things that feel mid.

Qualifications

  • A natural sense of order; you are organised with data, task lists, files, to-dos, and calendars. You stay calm under pressure, switch contexts quickly, and still laugh at a good meme. You prioritise well, call out bullshit, and if something feels like a waste of time, you say so.
  •  Common sense. You must be able to think on your feet, in real time, and look for solutions that aren’t written anywhere. From getting somewhere where all flights are full, to getting somebody who’s ghosting you to pick up, arranging a special delivery, hiring a specialist on Fiverr, etc.

  • Perfect command of English, spoken and written. You will have that friendly but firm tone of voice and manage to convince others charmingly.

  • Resourcefulness. You make the most of what is available. You figure stuff out.

  • You rearrange around issues and hurdles. You flag gaps in processes that can save us all a lot of time/effort.

  • Experience working with CRM tools to keep an eye out for clean, accurate data, list building, and tracking leads.
  • Experience sourcing venues, events, or speaking opportunities (or you can figure it out fast). This means a lot of phone calls and blagging.
  • Very, very strong communication skills, you’re confident in writing, speaking, and following up. Multiple languages or experience of dealing with non-native English speakers is a plus. You will need to be smart, kind, and good at getting special treatment or favours from suppliers and partners.
  • Strong sense of initiative. You will need to be very comfortable working autonomously without much supervision.
  • Reliability. Once agreed, we consider it done. You do the things you say you are going to do and do not need chasing.
  • Solid tech skills: Google Workspace, MS Office, PowerPoint, Notion, WhatsApp, AI, and basic spreadsheet magic (bonus points if you’re good at automation and connectors, and triple points if you can code basic stuff).
  • We do not require specific degrees or academic qualifications, but common sense, initiative, organisation, and some previous work experience.
